DYFI Muneer Katipalla slams Nalin Kumar Kateel and MLA Bharath shetty | Surathkal Toll | Mangalore
Following a series of protests, the Action Committee Against the NH Toll Gate in Surathkal is considering legal action to have the toll plaza removed. Muneer Katipalla, convener of the action committee, stated that the Surathkal toll gate was opened on a temporary basis six years ago and is still operational despite promises from elected representatives to close it. The committee has been fighting against the toll gate for the past five years, and a meeting of all stakeholders demanding the plaza's closure will be held in Mulky on March 1
